With this exam, the eye is examined to check health, detect disease, and develop a prescription for eyeglasses.  A glaucoma test will be done with either using non-dilating drops (these drops will not affect your vision) or an air-puff test.  Before you start the exam, you will have a pre-test with an Autorefractor, which is an instrument that looks like an air-puffer, but only shows you a picture and shines light in your eyes.
